E-learning
Electrical Apprenticeship.
I created this using Moodle, which is an open-source online learning platform. It’s only very recently that I’ve started to look at e-learning more, and am proud to realise that I picked a platform that many others see as being ‘one of the best’, even though I had never heard of it before, and based the choice on what I needed in an e-learning platform, and what I could find about it.
Our training involves three aspects- online videos, online quizes, and textbooks/ workbooks. I currently upload the videos we create onto (youtube originally, but now) viddler. I am a little unhappy with the quality of these videos, you can see a few at my viddler site (link on viddler).
The quizzes we use are just made using the moodle quiz maker, and we use questions from the TAFE workbooks, and other workbooks we find. I find that these work well, but Moodle Quizes aren’t the easiest to manipulate, but definitely a lot easier then Blackboard ones!
My newest addition is podcasts!

Websites
Taliacarbis.com. This is my personal website that I have created using a wordpress install. Quite proud of the way I have worked out some of the kinks and bumps along the way, and installed plug-ins and edited various things.
Grahamrodgers.com.au. Is a site I build for my dad for Christmas.
Grahamrodgers.com.au/apprentices. This site is for apprentices at work. On it I post study hints and also provide information for them on when their exams are etc. I use this in conjunction with the training site.
